Every thirs Thursday of the month National Geographic has a kids zone hour at the South Towne mall It was all about sea creatures and they each got a fish on a fishing pole balloon and Lola of corse HAS to be the center of attention smack dab in the middle of the group

Any time she has an opportunity to play with other kids she is ecstatic 

This is My Grandmothers rocker she gave to my parents when we first moved to West Jordan and now I belongs to us! I however do not have the before picture but my mom (and I a little bit) re upholstered the rocker in hounds tooth.  I love it and so does Lola

Danny started his "football" beard where he isn't going to trim/shave until the season is over.... don't worry I will have awesome beard pictures again in a few months ;)

Our good friend Brent came up for a weekend from AZ and we got to see him at Octoberfest at Snowbird.  It had just snowed the night before and Lola went crazy over it

Natural History Museum

For completing our list of reading and activities for the library this summer we received free passes to the Natural History Museum.  We had so much fun Lola absolutely loved it!

 When we first got in there were a lot of "wow"s coming from Lola it is a really cool building

We of corse had to look at all the butterflies that were in the main display she was just starting to learn her colors so she was having fun pointing them out and telling us what color they were

My favorite part... in some places in the museum there are plexiglass floors with displays of dinosaur bones being dug up.  Anyway the best part of it is Lola pulled the Indiana Jones moment where she kind of let her foot fall forward anti "air" hoping that something would catch her.  danny and I had a really good laugh

I know it has been a few months since I have last posted so in true Heather fashion I will post a lot of stuff I have put off :) always procrastinating! 

Lola at her singing and dance class at the library.  She loves going to these classes and we make so many friends!

While the cousins came up before they started school.  Lola seriously can not get enough of them!

And of corse while they were here we had to ride the train

Lola has discovered how much she loves to draw and color so every opportunity she has she will be drawing

My dad couldn't use his riding mower anymore on his lawn so we get to use it and Lola loves it!  She always wants to ride on the "moner" its really cute how she says it

At the library she loves to pick out her own books to read before class starts
