Christmas 2014!!!!

Yay! Christmas!!!  This year we decided to get a real tree.  We had a blast going to the tree lot to pick the perfect one that ended up being way too big... so we had to rearrange the front room and trim the tree a lot... "a little full, lots of sap"

Once it was wrangled and put up Lola put the Star on top and we decorated!

The look of triumph!

getting all the Christmas stuff out Lola was very amused.

We also each made our own ginger bread house.  I made all the dough and pieces myself so it was a little bit of a learning experience but so much fun!

Lola put all her candy on by herself she was amazing!

The final products

We went to see Santa ...hahaha... Lola asked for a pink scooter with NO hearts please.
We also went downtown to see the lights at temple square and the weather was unusually warm for this time of year so we really enjoyed ourselves.

Rascal.

helping on Christmas morning with a cheater breakfast

She was so excited that Santa brought her a pink scooter with no hearts.  Later that night she was telling Danny and I that she was the happiest girl because she "got everything I ever wanted" in a dreamy satisfied voice.

Lola also received a ton of dress ups and a carousel to put all of her stuff in and from that day on she has been Elsa NOT Lola

I had to add this because it made me laugh so hard... When I told her to throw away her candy wrapper mess this is her idea of a trash can.

October and November 2014

For Halloween this year we had 2 different classes that Lola dressed up for.. We all know she loves to dress up as Astrid but she also wanted to be Minnie Mouse one day.  Lola made these really cute goofy monsters and played a lot with other kids.

Playing in leaves... the pile on the right Lola actually found poop in so that was a fun catastrophe on our walk :)

Lola's 3 year check up + shots... YAY.... she actually is so awesome she doesn't even cry when she gets shots.  She is the coolest kid.

Pumpkin Carving and Trick or Treating

She wanted her pumpkin to look like the one on Charlie Brown

She had so much fun on Halloween this year.

I took about 2/3 of her candy away and she still had so much left that she was having some still at thanksgiving time

This year we went to a Native American Dance workshop it was a really cool experience and we had a great time!

Hoop Dancing was Lola's favorite one.

October visit to Boise 2014

Our Semi-annual trip to Boise was so much fun.....yes that is how long it has been since I have blogged.  The holidays were crazy this year and so much fun being with family!  We stayed in Boise for a few days and we enjoy every minute we get to spend with Grandma Rainypoo and Grandpa Glen.  Katie and Kip came over a few times as well and we always have so much fun together!

Three is the funnest age!! She has so much personality and imagination.  And for some reason she is stubborn and really sassy........go figure.
